I love old-time appalachian music when it's played by musicians with a great sense of rhythm and attention to pitch and tones. The music was made before commercial interests shaped music and I can hear that the emotion is pure without regard to trying to sell anything. It's wonderful that a young person like Nora Brown with enormouds talent is dedicated to keeping it alive and breathing new life into it.
